Identity

I am an introspective person by nature. This is my attempt to make sense of myself.

I worked on the songs on this album in some way, shape, or form, for the better part of ten years. You really can’t tell.

But in the end, it all came together. Somehow I stumbled into the theme of questioning oneself. At first it was a sophomoric rejoinder to the “question everything” attitude displayed in bumper stickers the world over. But as I grew and learned, the less I knew. Even now, ten years later, I’m questioning many of the assumptions I held as I wrote these songs.

This is the story of a boy becoming less of a boy. Or maybe just a more different boy. But the jury’s still out on “man.”
